The outstanding Zeus PBI 5F firefighting glove offers full PBI protection on the back of the hand and palm. The glove convinces with the best heat and flame resistance as well as a high degree of freedom of movement. The more durable PBI LP fibers on the back of the hand and palm offer the highest thermal protection and wearing comfort and make the glove very light. PBI LP is a revolutionary new PBI fiber that maximizes flame and explosion protection in lightweight outer shells. The anatomically shaped, fire-resistant knuckle protector provides absolute protection against impact and shock. It also protects the back of the hand from heat exposure and damage. The abrasion-resistant PBI Gold palm with PROmarble coating offers maximum protection and grip even on slippery and wet surfaces. A PBI Gold reinforcement has been added to the inside of the thumb, which is the first point of attack when extinguishing an internal attack, so this additional protection provides double protection. The flame-retardant cut protection liner made of Kevlar®/Inox/LCP protects firefighters against sharp objects and edges (performance level 5F). Thanks to the GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® Grip inner layer, the Zeus PBI 5F protects against moisture, chemicals, oil, gasoline, blood and viruses - while maintaining maximum breathability. The integration of the inner lining, the fixation of the inner layer and the connection to the outer shell are carried out using a process tested and patented by ESKA to permanently prevent unwanted extraction of the lining. The revolutionary new Flap Cuff solution allows for ideal fixation of the glove when worn over a jacket. All mechanical and thermal values are certified to the maximum, both when new and after pre-treatment of 20 washes at 60°C. The 3D anatomical and layered cut is adapted to the natural position of the hand to ensure the best possible fit and freedom of movement.
